Yard, lanai, and house rules for dogs
Our pups absolutely loved the backyard that was completely fenced (including a barrier at the bottom all the way around) and had a garden fence all the way around.
Book direct and save the Airbnb/VRBO service fees. House rules are in the rental agreement. This page does not invent a dog count, yard size, or nearest vet.
The house sleeps 8 (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms): king in the master, queen in bedroom 2, two twins in bedroom 3, and a pullout couch in the living room. Inland northeast Cape Coral near Diplomat and Del Prado. City registration RR-002030-2026. 7-day minimum.

Cape Coral’s municipal dog park
Wagging Tails Dog Park at Rotary Park is Cape Coral’s only city dog park. The city describes a 1.25-acre fenced area for small and large dogs, with benches and shade.
Registration is required. The city fee is $20 per dog per year. Registration follows the city’s fiscal year, October 1 through September 30. There is no pro-rating and no daily rate — a weekly guest who wants to use the park still pays the full annual fee. The city’s registration form also says there is no day pass or guest pass.
Register at the Rotary Park office, Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., excluding government holidays and special events, or by mail. Phone 239-549-4606. Use the official Wagging Tails page and the city registration form (PDF).
City park rules say pets are not allowed on athletic fields, playgrounds, beaches, picnic areas, nature trails, or boardwalks. Use Wagging Tails instead.
The city’s registration form also notes: the park is at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Road, Cape Coral 33914; it is closed Tuesdays until 1:00 p.m. for lawn maintenance; it is daylight hours only (sunrise to sunset); the registration tag must be visible; and dogs must be leashed outside the fence.
